Broadcast live from Lincoln Center in New York City.  Presented at The Del Oro Theatre in partnership with InConcert Sierra and Music in the Mountains.

Admission $22 Adults, $20 Seniors, $18 Students and Children 12 and under

The 2017-2018 Season has come to a close.  The 2018–19 Live in HD season of movie theater transmissions begins on October 6 with Verdi’s Aida, starring Anna Netrebko. Tickets go on sale to the general public in the United States and Canada on July 18.

Soprano Anna Netrebko sings her first Met Aida, with mezzo-soprano Anita Rachvelishvili as her formidable rival Amneris. Aleksandrs Antonenko is the warrior Radamès, and Nicola Luisotti takes the podium for the Met's monumental production.

Fathom Events and The Met: Live in HD present a broadcast of Saint-Saëns's Samson et Dalila, live in select cinemas nationwide on Saturday, October 20. Saint-Saëns's biblical epic stars El?na Garan?a and Roberto Alagna in the title roles; the pair was last seen together by Live in HD audiences in the acclaimed 2010 transmission of Bizet's Carmen. Laurent Naouri co-stars as the High Priest, with Elchin Azizov as the Philistine King Abimélech and Dmitry Belosselskiy as the Old Hebrew. Darko Tresnjak, the Tony Award-winning director of A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, makes his Met debut directing the first new Met production of the opera in 20 years. Sir Mark Elder conducts.

Fathom Events and The Met: Live in HD present a broadcast of Puccini's La Fanciulla del West, live in select cinemas nationwide on Saturday, October 27. Soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek sings Puccini's gun-slinging heroine in this romantic epic of the Wild West, alongside star tenor Jonas Kaufmann in the role of the outlaw Dick Johnson. Baritone Zeljko Lucic is the vigilante sheriff Jack Rance, and Marco Armiliato conducts.

Fathom Events and The Met: Live in HD present a broadcast of Nico Muhly's Marnie, live in select cinemas nationwide on Saturday, November 10. Composer Nico Muhly unveils his second new opera for the Met with this gripping reimagining of Winston Graham's novel, set in the 1950s, about a beautiful, mysterious young woman who assumes multiple identities. Director Michael Mayer and his creative team have devised a fast-moving, cinematic world for this exhilarating story of denial and deceit, which inspired a film by Alfred Hitchcock. Mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard sings the enigmatic Marnie, and baritone Christopher Maltman is the man who pursues her-with disastrous results. Robert Spano conducts.

Fathom Events and The Met: Live in HD present a broadcast of Verdi's La Traviata, live in select cinemas nationwide on Saturday, December 15. Yannick Nézet-Séguin conducts Michael Mayer's richly textured new production, featuring a dazzling 18th-century setting that changes with the seasons. Soprano Diana Damrau plays the tragic heroine, Violetta, and tenor Juan Diego Flórez returns to the Met for the first time in five seasons to sing the role of Alfredo, Violetta's hapless lover. Baritone Quinn Kelsey is Alfredo's father, Germont, who destroys their love.

Fathom Events and The Met: Live in HD present a broadcast of Cilea's Adriana Lecouvreur, live in select cinemas nationwide on Saturday, January 12. For the first time at the Met, Anna Netrebko sings the title role of Adriana Lecouvreur, the great 18th-century actress in love with the military hero Maurizio, sung by Piotr Becza?a. Gianandrea Noseda conducts Cilea's tragedy, directed by Sir David McVicar, with the action partially set in a working replica of a Baroque theater. The cast also features Anita Rachvelishvili as the Princess of Bouillon, Adriana's rival for Maurizio's affections, and Ambrogio Maestri as Michonnet.

Clémentine Margaine is opera's ultimate seductress, opposite Roberto Alagna, who captivated Live in HD audiences as Don José in 2010. Louis Langrée conducts Sir Richard Eyre's lively production, a favorite in the Met's repertoire.

The LIVE broadcast of Donizetti's La Fille du Régiment will be shown for one day only on Saturday, April 26 at 1:30PM ET / 10:30AM PT in select theatres nationwide. Experience the "exceedingly yummy operatic cake" that was called "the operatic show of the season" by The Times of London when it opened at Covent Garden this past winter. Audiences were dazzled by Natalie Dessay's fearless coloratura and impeccable comic timing and by Juan Diego Flórez's remarkable musicality-complete with the famous high Cs.

In what is expected to be a Wagnerian event for the ages, soprano Christine Goerke plays Brünnhilde, Wotan's willful warrior daughter, who loses her immortality in opera's most famous act of filial defiance. Tenor Stuart Skelton and soprano Eva-Maria Westbroek play the incestuous twins Siegmund and Sieglinde. Greer Grimsley sings Wotan. Philippe Jordan conducts.
